Do you want to be a Marion Walking Washington jukebox?

I had nieces and nephews who were part of the group in high school. My wife was in the group. I have friends who graced the field for the big game, playing hard in the squad. However, I never had the chance to do so. It really seemed like there was a family vibe and oneness with each other while participating in the group.

If this interests you and you are entering Grades 8-12, we encourage you to consider joining the Washington Marion Marching Jukebox Band program. All interested students are welcome, and no experience is necessary. There will be a 2021-2022 Orchestra Parents Meeting today at 5:30 p.m.

It will be a great experience and give you the chance to make new friends at the same time. If you are interested, contact Ms. Holiday at [email protected] or call 337-217-4540 ext. 2635.

WATCH: Here are the biggest HBCUs in America

More than 100 historically black colleges and universities are designated by the US Department of Education, meeting the definition of a school “established before 1964, whose primary mission was, and is, the education of black Americans.”
StudySoup compiled the 20 largest historically black colleges and universities in the country, based on 2021 data from the National Center for Education Statistics of the US Department of Education. Each HBCU on this list is a four-year institution, and schools are ranked based on the total number of students enrolled.
