Goulburn’s Hume Conservatorium will showcase a new creative district during a musical weekend | Goulburn post

Want to have fun at the Hume Conservatorium? Well, you have the chance to do so when the music school opens its doors and welcomes the community to go discover the new creative district and make music. Last December, the conservatory received $10,000 from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust. The funds went towards new seating in the Creative District’s new multi-purpose facility. There will also be a barbecue lunch available thanks to Goulburn Rotary. READ ALSO: On Friday, March 4 from 6:30-8 p.m., you can enjoy an evening of romance and song in the creative enclosure with David Greco on vocals, Nicole Forsyth on viola and Glenn Amer on piano. Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for children and the concession. On Saturday, March 5 from 10-11 a.m. there will be a free string workshop and an acacia quartet singing workshop led by David Greco. From noon to 1 p.m. there will be a free drum workshop by Worlds Collide and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. there will be a free string quartet rehearsal by Acacia Quartet. The day ends at 2 p.m. with a 90-minute Worlds Collide concert in the Creative Precinct. Tickets for this are $10 for all. On Sunday, March 6 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. there will be a Voices of Women concert and a preview of the film in the Creative Precinct. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children and the concession.
