In the non-profit sector, she has passed on the development efforts of Wharton Music School and CivicStory, and most recently served as Director of Development for RENEW International, a Catholic organization.
Klapwald holds a BA from Seton Hall University in English Literature, an MA from Drew University, and a JD from NYU Law School.
“I am delighted to welcome Marissa to the Lacordaire staff,” Mannato said in a school announcement. “Lacordaire recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. Marissa’s experience and understanding of development and fundraising, along with her passion for the advancement of Catholic education, makes her an ideal fit for our school.
