An encouraging video showing a man signing “Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaaye” from the 1990 film Jurm has been hailed and has gone viral on social media.

Unlike the daily performances we are used to, the man did not perform on stage, at an awards ceremony or in a bar. His moving performance was at the edge of a street with a thin crowd around him.

He had a microphone connected to an amplifier which is placed a few inches from the microphone stand.

As the camera moves to the right, a sign with the singer’s phone number, Instagram handle, and UPI QR code is revealed. We see a few silver bills passing a string next to the sign.

There is a note at the bottom of the sign that says, “Thank you for your contribution, this pays my music school fees.”

It turns out the singer was performing to pay his music school fees. Video of her performance went viral after it was shared on Twitter by a user named @ankitv.

Since being shared, the video has garnered over 51,000 views and a lot of love and respect in the reply section. Even Bollywood superstars Hrithik Roshan and Kunal Kapoor were all praise for the singer.

Kunal Kapoor called on internet users to support the singer. He wrote: “Awesome! You can support this very talented and innovative musician wherever you are. The power of UPI and technology.

“Oh, this boy is so amazing… At least he’s doing something that makes people happy and they are more than happy to contribute… Rather than taking the wrong path to make money… I loved it completely, ”wrote another user. .

“A QR code is a respectable option rather than a traditional begging bowl,” commented a third person.
